Markus and Tren are swing dance champions based in Washington, DC under their company ‘StuckOnSwing’. Together they travel across the United States and internationally teaching, competing, judging, and performing at National Swing Dance events. They are most passionate about bringing people together and sharing the gift of dance and music with the next generation.

Joao and Savana have been dancing together from 2 years. Since then, they’ve been travaling around the world performing their classic routines and bringing their west coast swing knowledge and passion to their classes with a spice of their different dance backgrounds.

chuck & lauren

The partnership brings together Chuck’s extensive experience and dedication to West Coast Swing (WCS) with Lauren’s boundless energy, organizational skills, and joy for dancing. Together, they form a knowledgeable, dynamic and captivating pair, aiming to motivate both new and seasoned members of the dance community. They are very approachable and can often be seen closing the ballroom after dancing all night long. As they continue to refine their teaching and dancing skills together, they embrace the ongoing evolution of this beautiful dance form. Chuck and Lauren are excited about the opportunity to work and dance with you, hoping to share their love and knowledge of WCS with many more.

victor & evelina

Victor and Evelina who respectively compete in the Advanced and All-Star division, found each other through this magical dance. They started teaching together and have since developed a teaching style that emphasizes clarity and pedagogy as much as the joy and passion for the dance that they share with their students. You might have encountered them at one of the many events they attended throughout the past years to further their own education, to judge, to keep their teaching up-to-date and of course to social dance as they are avid social dancers who love to spend all night on the floor. They’re also community leaders in Uppsala, Sweden where they have built a very active community through their weekly courses and intensives. They’re looking forward to teach at Riga Summer Swing and to spread their joy for dance and inspire both new and experienced dancers to share their love for West Coast Swing.
